Today we are initiating a wide scale test to update and improve our image display look & feel.
The images embedded by you on your blogs and web pages will appear as usual but you might see different visual display of the PicApp added elements appearing on top of the image.
As our community grows we get more and more ideas from our bloggers\users about their wishful readers experience . Some of these ideas are so great that we want to test them and see if indeed they create a better user experience that translate to better usage and improved royalties to content providers.
Feel free to send us any feedback you have about the different display options (good or bad…).
As some of you noticed, our WordPress plugin has been falling lately behind the rapid progress of the WordPress versions progress.
Our users (being the slick bloggers they are) have updated their blogs to the 2.8.x versions (2.9 is around the corner…) and started to see slowness and issues working with the plugin. Well, hint taken!
Today we release a brand new version of the plugin, simpler, faster and compatible with the latest versions up to the current 2.8.5.
With the new version you just search:
select the image you want:
Click on the thumbnail, and, viola, the image will be added to your post:
We want to acknowledge and address the comments we’ve been receiving lately from our loyal bloggers who are using the Wordpress plugin.
The plugin was created for WordPress versions 2.7.x and therefore is not fully compatible with newer versions, which results in slower response time occasionally and errors in running image search queries.
We apologize for the inconvenience; we are working to complete a new version and hoping to update the plug-in with the new version by next week!
So bear with us until the update is ready to get the best images for your blog.
