No More Copyright Worries in TISTORY
DAUM launches PicApp and Flickr plugins.
April 7, 2009— DAUM Communications Inc.(www.daum.net) reveals today PicApp and Flickr plugins which allow its TISTORY users to upload images for free. PicApp is the world’s leading service offering over 20million licensed images which range from celebrity, news, sports to fashion and more. Flickr is the popular image-sharing site.
These plugin partnerships are expected to help TISTORY Users diversify their blog contents with an enormous image DB, and DAUM secure the bridgehead to online image copyright protection and guide its users to legitimate image use.
Through PicApp plugin, 250,000 contributors in the TISTORY platform can now easily search and access to millions of premium images from PicApp and post them next to editorial and creative content at their post. Each published image has the related image thumbnail list and it will be the direct link which leads blog visitors to PicApp service page. Flickr plugin offers TISTORY users free UCC images including those in each user’s own Flickr account.
The partnership effort was made to meet Daum users’ needs and wants of creating desirable blog entry without violating online content copyright.
